My Beehiiv dashboard tells me this is the 68th consecutive week I’m posting a Good Enough Leadership newsletter.
So this feels like the right time.
Right between 69 (nice) and 67 (whatever that means).
I started Good Enough Leadership with a simple idea: that management advice had become far too complicated, polished, and confident.
Most of the time, you don’t need another framework. You need to make a decision, have the conversation, fix the problem, and occasionally admit that you got it wrong.
For 68 weeks, I’ve written about the stuff that happens in between.
I hope some of it was useful. I’m sure some of it was less useful. At least I enjoyed writing most of it, which is a pretty good standard for a newsletter.
But I think it’s time to take a break.
Is this goodbye?
I don’t know.
I’m going to take a break and decide.
Maybe I’ll come back with more Good Enough Leadership. Maybe I’ll come back with something else. Maybe 68 is simply where it ends.
